Golf Update – Bingara Gorge Golf Course Closure

Dear all,

We were advised yesterday that following the Prime Minister’s announcement, Golf NSW was seeking advice from the NSW Government and the NSW Office of Sport on “how the restrictions announced will impact the current status of golf in NSW”.

At 4.15pm yesterday, Golf NSW informed us that as a result of the advice received, it was recommended that all Golf Clubs in NSW cease golfing operations from midnight last night. Golf Australia also released a similar recommendation.

Following this advice, Bingara Gorge Golf Course has now closed until further notice. This means no one can enter the golf course area, including all golfers, walkers pedestrians and the like.

This announcement comes with much sadness, however it is necessary at this time to keep the safety of our players, employees and community at the forefront.

Again, we appreciate your ongoing understanding, support and co-operation during this difficult time. We will keep you informed with any further developments as they come to hand. We look forward to when it is safe to re-open and welcome everyone back on course.

 Stay safe, stay healthy,

The Bingara Gorge Golf Course Team
