Over $3000 Raised!
On Sunday the 1st of March, Bingara Gorge Golf held a bushfire relief fundraising event for our local Rural Fire Service (RFS) branch – Wilton RFS, where 100% of funds raised went directly to their branch. These funds were raised by Lendlease, who donated all cart and green fees, sausage sizzle takings and entertainment ticket sales on the day.
The golf event started at 9:30 in the morning with an all-inclusive novelty 3 club challenge. The eventual winner was Matt Riemann who navigated his way around the golf course with a score of 15 stableford points.

Entertainment started at midday with Wilton RFS fire truck on scene, for little kids and big kids alike, to explore and take selfies with some of the RFS volunteers. At one stage some of the kids were lucky enough to be apart of the fire hose demonstration!
If that was not enough to wear some kids out, they could burn off more energy bouncing around in the jumping castle and participating in footy passing activities.
If the appetite grew, you could get stuck into a sausage for a gold coin donation too.

A Huge thank you to Glenn Campbell and his amazing band ‘Original Sin’ who rocked the house down with there amazing INXS tribute performance. The 120+ crowd absolutely loved it.
All of this was hugely supported by our amazing Clublinks staff on the day who all had important roles, resulting in an awesome event!
